James is an Associate in our Wills and Estates team and has experience assisting clients with:
- Estate Litigation, including Testator's Family Maintenance ('Part IV') claims;
- Applications for Grant of Probate and Letters of Administration;
- Administration of deceased estates;
- Drafting Wills, including testamentary trusts;
- Drafting Powers of Attorney, including Appointment of Medical Treatment Decision Makers;
Prior to joining Aitken Partners, James gained hands-on experience in both suburban and national law firms, practicing in the areas of Wills and Estates and Dispute Resolution.
James is motivated by helping people through difficult situations. Every matter is different and James operates by providing clear and considered advice. James' experience in Dispute Resolution makes him a confident and strong advocate for his clients.
