Associate Promotions at Aitken Partners

Aitken Partners is pleased to announce two promotions to Associate, Phoebe Smillie and Sam Merrylees, each effective Monday 2 May 2022

Phoebe Smillie practices in the Family Law team. Dylan Chaplin-Burch, Principal and Head of the Family Law team was excited to announce this promotion to staff late last week.

"Phoebe re-joined Aitken Partners in June of last year after exploring another opportunity briefly. Her skills in not only the law but in building a rapport with clients during challenging times in their lives is exceptional.

Sam Merrylees practices in Litigation and Insolvency. Having been with the firm for more than 5 years, starting as a law clerk, he has been involved in numerous complex files.

Paolo Tatti, co-Managing Principal, was particularly proud to announce this promotion. "I had the opportunity to work with Sam even prior to completing his law degree. His work ethic, attitude, and quality of work are beyond his years.

"What is exciting about these promotions is that not only are they two rising stars in their respective areas, but each did their graduate years with the Firm and are homegrown,said co-Managing Principal Alex Nicol.
