On Wednesday night, we, like many businesses in Victoria, will be forced to close our physical offices in the city. We believe this will have minimal impact on how we deal with and advise our clients.

We have been very proactive throughout this pandemic in protecting the health and safety of our staff and clients, and remain confident that the steps being taken across Victoria will help us all to return to 'normal' soon.

As a firm, we have embraced better and more efficient ways of running a legal practice by operating things like a paper-lite office and cloud-based services for some of our core computer operations.

We did this because we thought it was a better way to operate, with efficiencies that we have passed on to our clients, but it has also made the transition to work from home easier than we expected even if it is not our preferred way to work.

Since March, most of our staff have been working from home which has given us the opportunity to ensure our processes are working smoothly by remote means.

We remain open to provide legal services, counsel and negotiation skills to you and your clients.

How we will operate

• All our staff can access all our systems remotely.
• Our telephone system is fully operational, and our staff are available on their normal office telephone lines and email.
• We will continue to see our clients using a range of video conferencing technology including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype and others.
• Our lawyers are able to attend virtual court hearings and deal with the signing of legal documents, including Wills.

We recognise these are tough times for all Victorians and we are here to work with you in a manner that makes it as easy as possible for you. We do, however, urge you to contact us by your normal means or by any one of the methods below so that we can schedule a virtual appointment using the technology that works for you.
